Hi and welcome to the wonderful world of pokémon. I am professor Oak. I guess you could call me something of an expert on all things pokémon. Over the years I've seen hundreds of new trainers get their very first Pokémon-including my grandson, Gary. I don't collect my own pokémon anymore. (I like to leave all the running around to the young trainers.) But I do teach the basics to the new generation of pokémon trainers.
Your mission:To collect and train as many of the 152 known species of Pokémon as you can. i supply many trainers with their first Pokémon. Usually i let them choose between three beginning Pokémon-Bulbasaur, Charmander, and Squirtle. Once you have your first pokémon, you could battle it and get other pokémon.

Game Codes for Pokémon: Red/Blue

Cheat Codes

99 of Any Item

To get 99 of any item, first put the item you want to multiply in the sixth item slot. Now use FLY and go to Viridian City. Talk to the old man almost all the way north of the town. When he asks if you are in a hurry, say no and watch him catch a weedle.

Right after that, fly to Fuchsia city. Make your way south and, when you you reach the water's edge, use SURF and make your way to Seafoam island. When you get to seafoam island, swim up and down the beach until you run into a Pokemon called "M" (a glitch like Missingno.) Once you see him, kill him or run away. DO NOT CATCH HIM! After that, you should have 99 of your sixth item! Warning!

Clone Pokemon:

Note: This trick requires another Game Boy and Pokemon game. Trade

the Pokemon to be cloned, and have the other player get a Pokemon

that he or she does not care about. Trade them, and make sure the

player receiving the bad Pokemon can see the other player's screen.

When the Game Boy that receives the good Pokemon's displays

"Waiting", get ready to shut the other Game Boy off. When the "

Waiting" message disappears, turn off the Game Boy that is

receiving the bad Pokemon. When the "Trade completed" message

appears, turn off the remaining Game Boy. Both games will have the

same good Pokemon when they are turned back on. Note: Do not

attempt this trick with any saved games you wish to keep, as it

can corrupt those files if done incorrectly.

Unlimited chances to catch rare Pokemon:

First ,find a rare Pokemon such as a Mewtwo. Then, immediately

before entering a battle with it, save the game. Now you can battle

the Pokemon without worrying about not catching it. If you make a

mistake and make it faint, stop and shut off the game. Then, turn

on the game and use the continue option to restart just before the battle.

Better chance to capture Pokemon:

When you throw a Poke-ball hold A as it closes on the Pokemon. The

Poke-ball will shut tighter, making it easier to catch the Pokemon.

When using any kind of Poke-ball (except the Master Ball), enter a

battle and prepare to throw it at a Pokemon. As soon as it appears,

hold Up + B. The Ball will become a Master Ball and catch the

Pokemon. Note: This trick requires precise timing.

Getting level 100 and over Pokemon:

Go to Viridian City and talk to the old man. When he asks if you are

in a hurry, answer "No". After he explains how to catch a Weedle, fly

to Cinnabar Island. Surf on the side of Cinnabar that faces the

Seafoam Islands. In addition to the Missingno Pokemon, regular

Pokemon over level100 will be encountered. Note: After any Pokemon

over level 100 gains any experience points, it will drop to level 100.

You can raise the Pokemon with rare candies up to level 255. After

that, they return to level 0. Note: The Pokemon available may vary

from cartridge to cartridge.

Get the Mimic TM

Buy a Pokedoll in Celadon Mart, then FLY to Saffron and talk to the Copycat. She will give you the Mimic TM.

Boss Tactics

Here are your best bets for beating the Pokemon Gym Leaders:

Brock: Use water or grass Pokemon against this rock trainer.

Misty: Use grass pokemon or electric to defeat this gym leader.

Leiutenant Surge: use a rock or ground pokemon and he's toast.

Erika: Use fire pokemon or flight against this plant lover and shatter her dreams of fighting you again.

Sabrina: Use bug or ghost against this psychomaniac and she is a goner.

Koga: This poison pokemon lover will be deafeted easily by using psy pokemon.

Blaine: This fire trainer will use fire pokemon against you so you can use water or ice.

Final boss: Giovanni, the team rocket leader, is the final gym leader - use water, ice, plant and he's out of there (and talk to him again and he says something to you).

In the Indigo Plateu you find 5 pokemon masters. Use this pokemon lineup for a better chance of success:

1. Plant

2. Water, Plant, Flight, Ice

3. Psy

4. Ice or Dragon

5. Your choice

Good Luck!

Pikablue:

To Catch Pikablu in any Version: NEW Updated CODE! Follow these Simple steps to catch him!

1.First you must catch all 150 Pokemon NOT I repeat NOT using GameShark.

2. Then you also must have Seventeen of your Pokemon at Level 100.

3. Then when all of these tasks are complete, go to the guy in Pewter City who asks you if you have been to the Museum yet. Say NO so he takes you to the door.

4. Then go into the museum and go upstairs and talk to the Lady who says "I want My boyfriend to catch me a Pikachu!"

5. After you talk to her, immediatly come out of the door and once you come out of the door do not take any steps forward. left, or right. Immediatly use fly and go to Celedon City.

6. Go to the Safari zone and catch a Tuaros. Leave room in your pokemon slots. So only bring 5 when you go to catch him. Then put tuaros in your 1st slot.

7. Go into the Game Corner and talk to the Lady that says "Go Next Door to the Coin Exchange Corner to use your coins to get great Prizes!"

8. But this time she will say, "Hey? You have all the badges? WOW! Well then since you were nice enough to talk to me, I will give you this Pokemon I found stranded behind then Pokemon Museum, he is so strong I can not control him.But since you have all the badges, YOU TAKE HIM!

9. It will say, "You got ???????" Then when you try to use it it will just be like if you were pressing cancel and it will exit every time you click on it. Then go to Proffesor Oak and he will say the same thing he says when you give him Oaks Parcel, it will still say "YOU DELIVERED OAKS PARCEL!"

10. Then when you go into your pokemon line and it will replace the Pokemon in your first slot. So put a spearow or something in first. It will still be called ????? so go to the Nickname guy and change it to Pikablu. It has a ElectricWave, Psyshock, and Electrode... Dont ask me why its Electrode but its an awesome move.

11. It is a Level 999 and Pikablu will, Yes it will appear in your Pokedex! After 150 it will say 154 and then you look at the Pokedex Info and it will look like this...

Name: Pikablu Type: ??????? Height: 2" 3" Length: 3" 4"
